KINTAMANI

The Kintamani area is located in the northeastern part of Bali. It is below the caldera of Mount Batur, one of the active volcanoes in Bali. Besides there is a volcano, in ​​Kintamani tourists also can see a natural lake named Lake Batur.

Inside of the area of Kintamani there are several villages. Such as Penelokan village, Abung village, Songan village, Toya Bungkah village, Batur village, Kedisan village, and Kintamani village which are included in the Bangli district government. Most tourists, who visit one of the villages, are more familiar with the term Kintamani, although, in fact they have vacation particularly in the village of Penelokan or other.

There are three favorite villages for tourists where they can see the sights of Mount Batur and Lake Batur. It is because those villages (named Penelokan village, Batur village and Kintamani village) are located in the highlands. In addition to see the natural scenery of mountains and lakes, tourists on holiday in area of Kintamani also like the activity of soaking in natural hot tubs in the village of Toya Bungkah.

Besides natural attractions, in the Kintamani area there is also a temple named Ulun Danu Batur temple.

PANELOKAN KINTAMANI

The main attraction for tourists in Kintamani area is the natural view of Mount Batur that has an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level. You can see that famous view in the Penelokan village which is in the south of Central Batur village in Kintamani District. Enjoy the incredible view while eating culinary treats in local balinese cafes. There are many lodgings in Penelokan Village and it is definately one of the most favorite places for honeymoon in Bali.

BATUR LAKE

Located on the slopes of Mount Batur this place has the charm of natural beauty. Legendary stories and the very exotic history of Lake Batur attractes many tourists to come and visit this place. Lake Batur is especially beautiful when viewed from a height.

BATUR MOUNTAIN

The natural beauty of Mount Batur is in the form of a stretch of former black eruption rocks. Mount Batur is the most favorite location visited by many tourists in Penelokan Utara Village, Kintamani District. If you like to take part in adventure activities, travel to Mount Batur is the best choice. Mount Batur has 3 volcanic craters, named the batur crater I, II, III. The vast caldera at Mount Batur is one of the largest and most beautiful Caldera in the world.

HOT SPRING WATER TOYA DEVASYA

Toya Devasya has a source of hot spring water that comes from the Mount Batur. The heat reaches 50 degrees Celsius on the edge of the lake. There are 4 types of ponds in Toya Devasya: Swimming pool for children, Natural therapy pool, Floating Sunburn Pool and Toya Bungkah Swimming Pool. There are some facilities available such as restaurants, pool bars, lockers, changing rooms, toilets and parking areas.
